Bhoomi’s Red Soil is necessary ingredient for your plants. Contains both Macro and Micro nutrients. Red soil is in its purest form dug out from the earth. No mixing of any kind of chemicals or nutrients. This red soil is low in phosphorus, humus, phosphoric acid, magnesium, and lime, but very rich in potash, varying from neutral to acidic pH levels. Red soil is made up of a high percentage of iron content, responsible for its color.

How to Use Red Soil

  • Add 1/4 parts of the red to vermicompost and cocopeat while preparing the potting mix.
  • Occasionally add 200gms of red soil to plants that seem unhealthy and have pale leaves to revive the plant.
  • Intervenal chlorosis (leaves showing yellow/ green veins) is depicted in leaves of the plants that have difficulty absorbing nutrients from the soil.  Overwatering will weaken the roots, diseasing them. The ability of red soil to aerate and drain the soil appropriately helps optimal drying out between watering – creating a suitable ambience for plants to grow.
