Bhoomi Garden Centre in association with the potter community in Tamil Nadu has produced some unique terracotta pots. We have aspired to produce terracotta plant pots using the traditional methods and techniques blended into the contemporary aesthetic and design aspects to bring out unique functional and artistic terracotta pieces.

Our potters come from the region of Krishnagiri belonging to the KULALA community which is said to have come from a royal lineage and for generations have been practicing pottery as their occupation. The steep decline in the younger generation of Kulalars in continuing the traditional occupation prompted Bhoomi and their associates to create a platform for them to acquire new techniques, designs and processes along with their traditional skills and create products for a wider market.

We have collaborated with the local potters to form ” Fuss Pot ” where every piece we produce is hand crafted with great care and diligence with an objective that you enjoy our pots as much as we enjoy making them.

We specialize in Bonsai planters, unique planters , cookware and other art pieces which are made using traditional potter’s wheel, hand-thrown and hand-pressed methods for their discerning clients. The pots are fired in a state of the art KILN that transforms raw clay into everlasting pieces of terracotta.

All terracotta products are chemical free and produced in an eco-friendly way. The focus is just to combine different types of clay which is soaked, filtered manually and dried naturally to make our pots & planters and then fired in the most energy efficient way to bring out the true colors and textures of the earth
